The Ministry has also warned that failure to submit the annual confirmation within 90 days of the due date can result in suspension of the registration.

According to Saudi Gazette, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing processed more than 91,000 commercial license amendments and more than 43,000 requests to add commercial activities in the first half of 2026. The same period saw more than 177,000 commercial license renewals.
The figures show why renewal and modification often need to be considered together. For growing companies, reviewing changes early can reduce the risk of discovering mismatched activities or outdated data only when a renewal request is already in progress.
